Jordin, along with the rest of the In The Heights cast, will be performing at the annual Broadway on Broadway concert in Times Square on Sunday, September 12th! They will perform the song When You’re Home. :)

An updated list of participants has been announced for Broadway on Broadway, the annual free concert presented by The Broadway League and the Times Square Alliance. As previously announced, the event will take place in Times Square at 11:30am on Sunday, September 12.

This concert , to be hosted by Kelsey Grammer, will feature performances from new shows and long-running favorites, accompanied by a live 30-piece orchestra.

Participating celebrities will include Sutton Foster, Mandy Gonzalez, Montego Glover, Mitchell Jarvis, Levi Kreis, Dan Lauria, Judith Light, Beth Leavel, Marin Mazzie, John O’Hurley, Jordin Sparks, Will Swenson, and Tony Vincent. In addition, Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo will perform the hit song “Empire State of Mind.”

Among the shows scheduled to appear are: The Addams Family, American Idiot, Billy Elliot The Musical, Chicago, Elf, Fela! , In the Heights, La Cage Aux Folles, The Lion King, Mamma Mia! , Memphis, Million Dollar Quartet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Phantom of the Opera, Promises, Promises, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway, Rock of Ages, The Scottsboro Boys, and West Side Story.

Grammer is currently appearing in La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway and received a Tony Award nomination for his performance in the musical. His other Broadway credits include Othello and Macbeth. In addition he played Professor Henry Higgins in the New York Philharmonic’s concert performance of My Fair Lady.

Check out a sneak peek of Jordin’s “Beauty and the Beast” music video that has been airing on the Disney Channel as of late. It’s not the best version of it, but it’s better than nothing. Jordin will be making a special visit on September 15th to those employees that work at Just Born in Bethlehem, New York. Although it’s not open to the public, she will be signing head shots and socializing with the employees there. So, stay tuned for possible pictures and/or videos.

Just Born employees in Bethlehem will get a visit Sept. 15 from pop singer and songwriter Jordin Sparks.
Sparks has spent the summer partnered with Just Born’s Mike and Ike brand. Sparks won “American Idol” in 2007, and has been nominated for a Grammy award, People’s Choice and Teen Choice awards, among others.

Sparks and Mike and Ike raised awareness for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation through their partnership.
“Partnering with Jordin has given us a great opportunity to spread awareness for the Mike and Ike brand and our partnership with ALSF,” Donald Houston, senior brand manager for Mike and Ike said in a release.

“We are touched by Jordin’s support and involvement in the foundation and pleased with the results of this multi-faceted campaign.” Sparks will be on hand to sign head-shots and greet employees. The event is not open to the public.

From the looks of it, Jordin will be a part of NY’s Fashion’s Night Out on September 10th. She will be a guest at the Kiehl’s flagship store, whom are having a Karaoke Karnival theme. She does have a show on Friday, but if she manages her time wisely, she’ll be able to make this event since it ends at 11pm. Jordin is supposed to perform, so hopefully they’ll be pictures and/or videos from this event. :)

Start your Fashion Week off on a musical note — drop by the Kiehl’s flagship store (located at 109 Third Avenue at 13th Street) from 6: 30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and sing your heart out at their Karaoke Karnival, hosted by Kiehl’s president Chris Salgardo. You’ll have the chance to enter raffles every hour and enjoy performances from former 3LW member Adrienne Bailon and American Idol winner and current In The Heights star Jordin Sparks while munching on cotton candy, hot dogs, and pretzels or sipping on some cocktails (so you can get the liquid courage to participate in the karaoke sing-a-longs).

We previously announced that Jordin will be appearing on Wendy Williams on September 14th, but now IMDB.com is saying that she’ll be on the show on September 13th instead! IMDB is usually pretty accurate, so we’ll take it as confirmation. Make sure you tune in on Monday at 10 AM! :)

Jordin’s music video for Beauty and the Beast had it’s world premiere last night on Disney Channel at 7:55 PM. No videos have shown up yet, hopefully we will have one available for you soon! :)

According to TvGuide.com, Jordin will be appearing on the Wendy Williams Show. From the looks of it Jordin will be on Tuesday, September 14th, but we are not 100 percent sure. So, we will let you know the exact date when it is confirmed on the website. In the meantime, check out the video below when Jordin was on the Wendy Williams Show last year.

Jordin Sparks was only 17 when she won season six of “American Idol.” Two albums (one platinum), five top 20 hits and a Grammy nomination later, the squeaky-clean 20-year-old is now setting her sights on Broadway in the Tony-winning “In the Heights.”

Sparks plays Nina, a Stanford University student who returns to Washington Heights to confront her past as well as her painful present.

On Broadway: “The singing is the easy part . It’s in the telling of the story and staying in character each day where I learn something different … I’m trying to put me in there as well as still being Nina.”

On New York: “We lived 20 minutes outside of the city for half of my life when my dad [Phillippi Sparks] played for the New York Giants. It’s a lot of fun when you go to restaurants you haven’t been for seven years. There’s this place called Cubby’s Rib Shack and it’s amazing. I went there for rehearsal from the tour and was like, oh my gosh, I haven’t been here in so long! But the owner knew me when I was young and was like, ‘I haven’t seen you in forever.’”

On “Idol” without Simon Cowell: “It’s definitely going to be missing a vital piece of the show. But I think a lot of people are going to tune in because they’re going to want to see how the vibe is and how everything goes. ”
