Jordin to Appear on MTV's "When I Was 17"!

Yesterday Jordin filmed an episode for MTV's show, "When I was 17". It's funny to think that we pretty much know what happened to her when she was 17 (hint: American Idol lol), but regardless be sure to look out for that and we will let you know when it will air in the future!

Ever wonder what your favorite celebrity was like as a teenager? What did they do differently than you to get where they are? And what did they do the same? In this poignant, sometimes funny, often enlightening, always inspiring new show, each episode will focus on the lives of three uniquely different artists. We'll explore their upbringing, family life, school days, friendships, romantic relationships, part-time jobs and the things they did, or didn't do, to get them to where they are today. The series will give MTV viewers an exciting look inside the world of your favorite stars BUT with a twist --- it will provide a rare look at their lives before they were famous.

MTV's 'When I Was 17' will show how artists' lives are different from the average viewers'... and how they are the same. In some cases, we'll hear about seventeen years olds struggling with the same challenges as their peers -- trying to figure out what their lives will hold at the end of high school. In many cases, we'll see driven young people who were already hard at work at 17 to make their dreams come true.

'When I Was 17' will provide a picture of what the now glamorous stars were like in their teen years. It will also provide an instant nostalgia trip for the stars and their fans. In each episode, we'll take a look back at pop culture from the year each star was 17, reminiscing about their favorite music, movies, and TV shows. Find out about the car they drove, the clothes they wore, their favorite hang-outs, and hear their memories of historical events from when they were 17.

"Faith" Feat. On Tapestries of Hope Trailer!

Check out this trailer of Tapestries of Hope, where Jordin's song "Faith" is featured. The song fits in perfectly with the serious issue that is being talked about during this documentary. So, take a look at some information and the video below.



"Tapestries of Hope" is a feature-length documentary that exposes the myth behind the abuse of young girls in Zimbabwe and brings awareness to the efforts of the Girl Child Network and their fearless founder Betty Makoni.

This is a 2:58 min teaser trailer of the documentary, directed by award-winning filmmaker Michealene Cristini Risley, produced by Anand Chandrasekaran and Ray Arthur Wang, and currently in post-production.

The project's blog featured daily live-blogs during the shoot in Zimbabwe, and was featured on "The Huffington Post", the world's top-rated news blog. The blog also won a "Media Blog of the Year" award recently for its pioneering use of new media to raise awareness and build community.

Even though it's set in Zimbabwe, the message about abuse is universal.

Video: Starkey Gala Red Carpet!

Check out this other video of when Jordin attended the 2010 Starkey Gala. Jordin is shown at 0:38 and 1:40 (don't blink lol). She then talks briefly to the cameras at 2:05. I'm still hoping that a video where Jordin is singing "The Cure" turns up somewhere, so in the meantime take a look at this one! :)

Flashback Vid: Jordin backstage W/ Jesse!

The time has come for another flashback video! In this video, Jordin and Jesse McCartney are backstage with Johnjay and Rich while they were touring together in 2008. At 1:00 Jordin and Jesse sing background vocals as a staff member sings "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson. Later, at 3:54 Jordin sings while playing guitar to Jewel's "You Were Meant for Me". So, enjoy! :)
